Scripture
We believe that “Every Scripture is God-breathed” (2 Timothy 3:16). Therefore, we believe that the whole Bible in its entirety is God breathed, in which holy men of God “were moved by the Holy Spirit” (2 Peter 1:21) to write the very words of Scripture. We believe that this divine inspiration stretches equally and fully to all parts of Scripture as it appeared in the original manuscripts. We believe that the whole Bible in those original manuscripts is, therefore, without error. We believe that all Scripture revolves around the Lord Jesus Christ in His person, work, and in His first and second coming. Therefore, no portion of the Old Testament is properly read or understood until it leads to Christ. We also believe that all Scripture is profitable for our practical instruction in living holy and righteous lives.
(Luke 24:27, 44; John 5:39; Romans 15:4; 1 Corinthians 10:11; 2 Timothy 3:16)
The Triune God
We believe in the one and only true living God, “God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob”, the Creator, Redeemer, Sustainer, and Ruler of all things. He is from everlasting to everlasting, unchangeable, and is revealed to us as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Exodus 3:6; Exodus 3:15; Exodus 3:16; Exodus 4:5; 1 Kings 18:36; 1 Chronicles 29:18; 2 Chronicles 30:6; Matthew 22:32; Mark 12:26; Luke 20:37; Acts 3:13; Acts 7:32).
Father: God, as Father, reigns over all of His universe with providential care. He is omnipotent, omnipresent, Compassionate, merciful, all-knowing, and all-wise.(Gen. 1:1; 1 Chron. 29:10; Jer. 10:10; Psalm 86:15; Matt. 6:9; Acts 1:7; Rom. 8:14-15; 1 Cor. 8:6;1 Cor. 15: 24; Eph. 4:6)
Son: The word of God became flesh without ceasing to be God, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin, in order to reveal God to man, and redeem sinful man by voluntarily offering Himself as a sinless, substitutionary sacrifice on the cross to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins, thereby satisfying God’s righteous judgment against sin.
(Luke 1:34-35; John 1:1-18; Rom. 3:24-26; Rom. 8:3)
Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit is the Divine Person who convicts the world of sin. He alone brings new life to those who are spiritually dead; He indwells believers permanently, seals them unto the day of final redemption, bestows spiritual gifts upon them, and fills those who are yielding to Him.
(John 3:3-8; 14:16-17; 16:7-11; 1 Cor. 12:7-11, 13; Eph. 4:30; 5:18)
Creation
We believe that God directly and purposely created heavens and earth and all living beings in them, and created man in His own image and completed His work of Creation by the seventh day literally.
(Gen 1:1-2:2; John 1:3; Col. 1:16-17)
Man
Although man was created in the image of God, in his free will he sinned and lost access to the tree of life which we believe was Jesus. This is true of all men; and unless a man be born again by the Holy Spirit, he shall not enter the kingdom of Heaven.
(Genesis 1:26-27; Genesis 3:1-7; Genesis 3: 23-24; John 3:3; Romans 3:10, 23)
Satan (or Devil)
We believe that Satan is a real fallen angel, who inspires sin in men, and initiated the fall of man (original sin) in the Garden of Eden, and is destined to the judgment of an eternal punishment in the lake of fire and sulphur.
We also believe that Satan is the ruler of the earth (Prince of the earth), and with his fallen angels (demons) tries to keep anyone he can, away from the truth by lies and destruction.
(Matthew 4:1-3; Acts 5:3; 2 Corinthians 4:4; Revelation 20:10; John 14:30; 1 Peter 5:8; Ephesians 6:12; Mark 5:1-12; 1 Timothy 5:22)
Gifts of the Holy Spirit
We believe once sanctified by the blood of Jesus Christ, and born again, one will receive the Holy Spirit, and with that gifts of the Holy Spirit, which might vary from one to another according to His will. (John 14:16; John 14:26; Hebrews 2:4; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12; 1 Corinthians 14:1)
Atonement for sin
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins as a blameless substitutionary sacrifice by being crucified according to the Scriptures and that all who believe in Him are redeemed by His shed blood. We believe in the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ after being put to death by crucifixion, and we believe in His ascension into heaven; He is our High Priest and Advocate seated on the right hand of God.
(John 1:1-3, 14; 3:1-7; Hebrews 10:4-14; 1 John 2:2; Luke 22:68; Colossians 3:1).
Salvation
We believe that salvation is only received by faith, and it is a gift of God. Salvation cannot be achieved or made more secure by meritorious works, but is freely bestowed upon all who put their faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ at Calvary. Those who trust the Savior are forgiven of all their sins and are born again children of God by the power of the Holy Spirit.
(John 1:12; Acts 16:30-33; Romans 10:9-10; Ephesians 1:7; Ephesians 2:8-9)
We believe that Jesus is the Way, The Truth, and the Life—the one and only way to eternal life. (John 14:6)
We also believe if one is truly born again in Christ and has received the Holy Spirit, they will keep Jesus’ commandments and shall be saved eternally. (John 14: 15; Hebrews 6:4-6; 1 John 3:9-11; Hebrews 10: 38-39)
Christian Walk
We believe that as a born again Christian, we are to walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit, and so to live in the power of the Holy Spirit in order that we will not fulfil the lust of the flesh, but live in His perfect will. Christians must choose to keep the flesh in submission to the Holy Spirit, or it will certainly manifest its presence in life and dishonour our Lord, and quench the Holy Spirit. A truly born again, Holy Spirit filled Christian will not continue to sin or backslide.
(Romans 6:11-14; Romans 8:2, 4, 12-13; Galatians 5:16-23; Ephesians 4:22-24; Colossians 2:1-10; 1 Peter 1:14-16; 1 John 1:4-7; 1 John 2:19; 1 John 3:5-9; Hebrews 6:4-6; Hebrews 10:38-39; 1 Thessalonians 5:19; )
Marriage
We believe marriage is sacred, and must be honoured by all. Marriage according to the Scripture is only and only between a man and a woman; a match for a man is only a woman, and a match for a woman is only a man, and any kind of sensual relationship with the same sex or that with any animal, any doll, any robot or anything else is totally condemned, and an abomination. We oppose any form of LGBT as their actions are of the devil, and are condemned. We also believe divorce is a sin except for sexual immorality, and that divorce can also cause the divorcee to sin too.
(Exodus 20:14; Leviticus 20:15-16; Leviticus 20:13; Jude 7; Deuteronomy 27:21; Jude 7; 1 Corinthians 5:1; 1 Corinthians 5:9-11; 1 Corinthians 6:9; 1 Corinthians 6:13; 1 Corinthians 6:18; 1 Corinthians 7:2; 1 Corinthians 10:8; Hebrews 12:16; Hebrews 13:4; Galatians 5:19; Ephesians 5:3-5; Colossians 3:5; Matthew 19:9; Matthew 5:28; Matthew 5:32)
Gender
We believe God created mankind in His own image, and He made them male and female, and so there’s nothing in between, we oppose any form or idea of transgenderism, and that each person is born either male or female.
The Great Commission
Until the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, it is every Christian’s duty and privilege to seek the fulfillment of Christ’s Great Commission and to minister in His name to a dying world. We are to be instruments of Jesus Christ as the Holy Spirit ministers redemption and salvation in the world.
